Upholstery tools

In this section we'll describe the tools used for Upholstery.

Double ended Needles

are needles with sharp ends on both end, so that this needles may be threaded and pull trough the material until the thread is gone trough the inserted side but not necessary trough the outside of the other side of the material, it can then loop around inner stuffing and returned either trough the exact same hole, or a new one along the line of sewing, or between the inserted hole and the previous one for back stitching.
This allows the thread to be fastened to the inner material only.
They are mainly used for this type of blind stitching.

Regulators

are good sized needles with one pointed and one flattened end.
This flattened end is often used as a third finger getting in places and corners where the fingers are to large or to short for.
They are most often used for the regulation of stuffing.
